- Percent Correct
- Total Score
Classroom Follow-up
- Address students’ instructional needs and reteach as indicated by student performance.
- Ask students to share their problem solving processes.
Monitoring Progress
- Frequently review the number of questions answered correctly per mission.
- The number of points earned will give good directional guidance regarding a student’s overall proficiency but is not a precise measurement of student success because total points earned are enhanced by the student’s ability to navigate and play the game.
- Students should be accountable to track their progress through the use of lab sheets or interactive notebooks, etc.
- Teachers should actively monitor student progress during lab sessions and through the use and interpretation of our game reports.
Recommended Game Play
- 30 minutes weekly in the form of two 15-minute missions or three 10-minute missions is ideal.
- Encourage additional game play outside of school hours.
