DimensionU Tournaments Made Easy
A guiding philosophy that DimensionU strives to achieve is that we believe DimensionU is an opportunity to engage all students in learning.
Most traditional academic competitions are designed for and attract students who are excelling in school academically. DimensionU believes that our product and academic competitions are unique in that they provide a doorway for a broader range of student participation and the opportunity to make a difference for an individual student who may not otherwise perceive themselves as being academically successful in the traditional education setting. In the end, we strive to develop an intrinsic love of learning through our products and competitions, and to make a positive impact on the future educational and career pathways of students.

Since DimensionU seamlessly adapts to diverse skill levels, our tournaments encompass every student, fostering an atmosphere of inclusiveness.

As you gear up for a DimensionU tournament, keep the following in mind:
- Define Tournament Scope: Choose the scale of your tournament - a single class, grade level, or a school-wide event.
- Opt for Rounds: Decide on the number of rounds your students will participate in. Feeling simplicity? Go for one round! The victor of that round takes the inaugural DimensionU tournament title. As you gain confidence, you can progressively expand the number of rounds.
- Secure a Venue: Select a venue for preliminary and final rounds. Your classroom, cafeteria, or lab is an ideal choice. For a school-wide affair, consider an auditorium or cafeteria, providing space for classmates to cheer on their peers.
- Incentivize Winners: Think about a prize for the winners. Popular options include a no-homework pass or bonus points.
The students... love DimensionU. They love the competition of earning points within the game as well as the video game feel. The teachers love that the students are learning and practicing reading and math while enjoying the game. The tournaments that are held within our district are an especially fun aspect of the program. Our students, and teachers, love the tournaments.
